Abby Zinecker is a thermal analyst at NASA Johnson Space Center specializing in optical property degradation of thermal materials and coatings for the Gateway program.  Her responsibilities include thermal modeling to support hardware development and verification and providing technical guidance to NASA partners to meet program requirements.  Abby also worked on several projects during her graduate and undergraduate studies, one of which was to design and build a space habitat mockup for a crew of four in cislunar space for 60 days.  She received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
